George Afara lives in a bustling tourist
area on the coast of Lebanon, between the mountains and the sea.
He worked on the reconstruction of fuel terminals at Dora-Beirut
shortly after they were destroyed by shelling during the 1989-
90 conflicts. That experience, combined with his personal interest
in the issue of ghostly apparitions, led him to write Terror at
the Terminals. His research included various documentaries of
recorded events of hauntings and led him to the personal thesis
he expresses in this book. Terror at the Terminals (www.terror-at-the-terminals.com)
is his first book. He has completed a second and is currently
working on a third.
